Analisis Penerapan Model Praktik Keperawatan Profesioanal (MPKP): Literatur Review

Abstrak

Background: Inconsistency in the implementation of the Model of Professional Nursing Practice (MPKP) is a challenge in various hospitals in Indonesia, this has an impact on the quality of nursing care, patient safety, patient satisfaction and also nurse satisfaction. Some of these problems are caused by non-optimal nursing planning design processes such as staffing, directing, controlling and evaluating. Management support in the implementation of the Professional Nursing Practice Model is very important to overcome this problem. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Professional Nursing Practice Model in nursing service management. Methods: This study used the literature review method by analyzing articles from trusted sources such as Mendeley, Proquest, PubMed, Google Scholar and Gale. The number of articles obtained was 3271 articles, but after screening through boolean and, or and not there were 11 journals that matched the topic of the literature review. The selected articles were analyzed using JBI to see the bias in the results: The results showed that the implementation of MPKP increased patient and nurse satisfaction, improved the quality of nursing services, nurse autonomy and improved the quality of nursing care. The assignment system recommended in some articles is the Primary Nursing practice method. Discussion: The successful implementation of the professional nursing practice model is influenced by various factors such as the level of knowledge of nurses, the methods used and management support. Barriers include the level of education, number of staff, complexity of services and staff training. Conclusion: The implementation of the professional nursing practice model improves patient and nurse satisfaction, service quality, nurse autonomy and improves the quality of nursing care,
