Riskesdas 2018 showed an increase in the main indicators of NCDs, such as hypertension, obesity, and smoking habits. The low knowledge of health workers, patients, and the community about NCDs is often the cause of the difficulty in controlling the disease, especially blood pressure. Knowledge can be increased by several factors, including age and understanding of mindset. This study aims to identify the impact of education on increasing the knowledge of health cadres. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design, using a one group pre-test and post-test approach. A sample of 11 individuals was selected using the total sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires before and after providing education about Posbindu NCDs and non-communicable diseases of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The analysis was carried out univariately, and after the normality test showed that the pre-test and post-test data were not normally distributed, the Wilcoxon test was carried out. The results showed that almost half of the respondents were between 41-50 years old (45.5%), and more than half of the respondents had a junior high school education level (63.6%). The Wilcoxon test produced p-value of 0.003 which is smaller than 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of providing education on increasing the knowledge of health cadres. Further training is needed to improve the understanding and skills of health cadres.
Indah Rahmanda Sari, Hasna Yasarah, Shinta Nuriiyah, Atsni Atsa Nabila, Dian Ruswanti, Abdullah Azam Mustajab Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://103.165.236.247/index.php/joh/article/view/1330 Fri, 21 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Hubungan Pengetahuan dengan Kejadian Hipertensi di Pos Pembinaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular http://103.165.236.247/index.php/joh/article/view/1380
Hypertension is one of the leading causes of death in the world. Prolonged high blood pressure puts a strain on the heart, causing blood vessel damage, kidney failure, blindness, and impaired cognitive function. In this case, the lack of knowledge about hypertension is still one of the factors for someone to develop hypertension or high blood pressure. Someone who has knowledge about hypertension usually has controlled blood pressure. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the incidence of hypertension in Integrated Development Post for Non-Communicable Disease Bumiroso. This research method uses a cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 respondents. Respondents were asked to fill out a questionnaire and take blood pressure measurements. The research data were analyzed using frequency distribution and chi-square test. The results showed that there were 17 respondents with good knowledge with normal blood pressure values as many as 12 people and hypertension as many as 5 people and 13 people with poor knowledge with normal blood pressure values as many as 3 people and hypertension as many as 10 people and obtained a p-value of 0.025. Hypertension is one of the most common non-communicable diseases in society. High blood pressure is a risk factor for heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, and stroke. Several studies have explained that one of the risk factors for hypertension is obesity. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between obesity and the incidence of high blood pressure. The method used in this study was quantitative research conducted with a cross-sectional design. The study respondents numbered 35 participants who underwent anthropometric measurements (weight, height and body mass index/BMI) and blood pressure measurements. Data analysis used frequency distribution and chi-square to determine the relationship between obesity and the incidence of hypertension. The results showed that 20 of the respondents were obese (60%) and hypertension (57.14%) and the chi-square test results showed a p-value of 0.036 which was smaller than 0.05. The conclusion is that there is a correlation between obesity and the incidence of hypertension in Posbindu PTM participants. Indonesia has a prevalence of elderly people reaching 11.75% of the total population, and loneliness as one of the impacts experienced by 50% of elderly people creates a risk of dementia which can threaten their lives. In reality, it is not easy for someone to admit the loneliness they are experiencing, so it needs to be studied more deeply. This research aims to identify loneliness in the elderly, whether it impacts their lives, and how the elderly can overcome it. This qualitative research interviewed 10 elderly people about their experiences of loneliness and the elderly's responses to the loneliness they experienced. The results of interviews with participants were analyzed by researchers using the thematic analysis described. Two themes can be concluded from the interview data of ten elderly participants, and each theme has subthemes: 1). The meaning of loneliness in the elderly, and 2). Elderly responses to loneliness experienced. The meaning of loneliness in the elderly has 3 subthemes, while the elderly's response to loneliness has 2 subthemes. Elderly loneliness occurs because they do not have friends and emotional support from those closest to them, such as partners or children, due to feelings of being abandoned and not cared for by other people, especially family members, and because of feelings of worthlessness and low self-esteem. Meanwhile, the response of the elderly to the loneliness they experience is very varied, for the older elderly choose to draw closer and surrender to God, and most of the elderly seek to be busy through various activities to divert their attention from feelings of loneliness, and the worst response that the elderly make when they are lonely is drinking alcohol. Loneliness in the elderly found in this research still needs to be continued with wider coverage and more participants, using mixed methods or quantitative research using elderly loneliness detection tools and intervention as early as possible to prevent situational loneliness from becoming chronic.
Vausta Nurjanah, Vivi Retno Intening Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://103.165.236.247/index.php/joh/article/view/1399 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Metode Pembelajaran Klinik dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Bagi Mahasiswa Keperawatan Profesi Ners: Sebuah Tinjauan “Scoping Review” http://103.165.236.247/index.php/joh/article/view/1400
Clinical nursing learning is one of the professional nursing education processes that contains academic education processes and professional education processes. The two themes are interest and professional perception. The interest theme has sub-themes of internal and external factors, while the theme of professional perception consists of sub-themes of professional characteristics, helping others, and job opportunities. The three keywords with the most occurrences are nursing (related to the keywords reason, choosing, having, and job opportunities), people (related to the words parents, sick people, and job opportunities), and nurses (related to the words ideal, job opportunity, job, noble, and becoming). Based on the findings of this study, educational programs can be designed to uphold students' values and achieve their aspirations to become future nurses and create a learning environment that accelerates the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and the ability to survive in various conditions. Further research can make parents as participants to see the view from the other side of the reason for choosing a nursing program as a further study.
Sanny Frisca, Dheni Koerniawan, M.
