Hubungan Durasi Penggunaan Gadget, Kualitas Tidur Pada Anak Usia Sekolah SDN 2 Simpang Sari Sekayu

Abstrak

One of the advanced technologies in Indonesia is gadgets, this sophisticated item is published with various applications that can provide various information, gadgets are a form of technological sophistication. Gadget users are not only from workers, but almost all groups including children and even toddlers. The duration of gadget use that causes children to become addicted or children's habits of excessive gadget use so that it causes disturbed sleep quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the duration of gadget use and sleep quality in school-age children at SDN 2 Simpang Sari Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin Regency in 2024. This study is a quantitative study using a descriptive method. This study uses a "cross-sectional" design. The sample of this study was students (grades 4, 5, 6) at SDN 2 Simpang Sari Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin Regency in 2024 with a total of 73 respondents. Data analysis was tested using the Spearman rank test. The results of this study obtained a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05), so there is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and sleep quality in school-age children at SDN 2 Simpang Sari Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin Regency in 2024. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and sleep quality in school-age children at SDN 2 Simpang Sari Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin Regency in 2024. It is hoped that it can be used as material or material to provide guidance to students about the duration of gadget use and the effects and benefits of maintaining sleep quality so that students can concentrate more while studying and the learning process is more optimal.
