PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BOOKLET MENOPAUSE TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN KECEMASAN WANITA PREMENOPAUSE

Facing the menopausal actually causes perceptions premenopausal women. This study
aims to determine the effect of health education on knowledge and anxiety. The research
design using pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest, the sample size of 100
premenopausal women, was taken using the method of multistage sample. Knowledge
and anxiety were measured using a questionnaire. Analysis using the Wilcoxon test and
the pair sample t-test with a significance level 0,05. This study shows the significant
impact of health education to anxiety after intervention. Women who have never been
pregnant decrease in anxiety was higher than have ever pregnant. Is recommended to
health workers in primary health centers implementing menopausal counseling to reduce
anxiety facing the menopausal.
