Peran Mediasi Sikap atas Pengaruh Kepercayaan terhadap Niat Menggunakan Instagram

The development of the internet through social media such as Instagram has greatly increased its use in recent years. It is also not free from the influence of a smartphone that allows users to access Instagram anytime and anywhere. In this study aims to determine the effect of confidence in the intention of using Instagram by using mediation variable of user attitude. Especially with the increasing number of users Instagram with various purposes in action usage. Respondents in this study are the users of Instagram as many as 100 people selected at random both online and offline. The results show that trust has a significant negative effect on attitudes, but the belief in the intent of use gives a significant positive effect. Other results by using the mediation variable is in terms of attitude towards the intention to produce a significant negative effect. This shows that trust plays an important role in changing the intention to use social media applications because of the many criminals that occur through the internet.
