Abstract

The learning styles of 2nd grade elementary school students can vary greatly, because at this age they are developing their skills and learning styles. This study aims to determine the various learning styles possessed by 2nd grade elementary school students in learning mathematics. The learning styles in question include visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This study uses qualitative descriptive and data collection techniques in this study include the observation stage, interviews with teachers and students to identify the best ways for students to understand the subject matter as well as questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study showed that the learning styles of 2nd grade Parallel students of SDK Frater Xaverius Palembang are visual learning styles of 48 students with a percentage of 0.57%, auditory learning styles of 18 students with a percentage of 0.22% and kinesthetic styles of 17 students with a percentage of 0.21%.
