Current Indonesian education still assumes that intelligent people get the best grades. In contrast, emotional intelligence, such as attitudes, student creativity, independence and emotions, has not received intensive evaluation, especially because emotional intelligence affects student morale, which is an urgent topic in education today. The purpose of the research is to find out the effect of emotional intelligence on primary school children. This study examines research related to emotional intelligence. This study uses a descriptive analysis based on 19 emotional intelligence journals taken from journals published between 2017 and 2024. Emotional intelligence refers to a person's ability to accept, assess, control and manage their own and others' emotions. On the other hand, behavior is a state or quality that already exists in the soul of a person and becomes a personality in such a way that various actions happen spontaneously and easily without planning and without having to think before acting. Thus, emotional well-being can influence or have a positive effect on student behavior.
