Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kejadian Anemia pada Ibu Hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tujuh Ulu Palembang

Anemia is a serious global public health problem that primarily affects children, menstruating girls and women, and pregnant and postpartum women. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parity, interpregnancy interval, and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Tujuh Ulu Public Health Center Palembang City in 2024. The study used an analytic survey method and cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the working area of Tujuh Ulu Health Center Palembang City totaling 211 people, with a sample size of 64 respondents taken with purposive sampling technique based on the inclusion & exclusion criteria. The data collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test. The results showed that there were 20 (31.3%) anemia, 13 (20.3%) high-risk parity, 14 (21.9) close pregnancy distance, and 22 (34.4%) poor nutritional status. Based on the results of statistical tests it is known that there was no relationship between parity with anemia (P value = 0.009) and there was relationship pregnancy distance (P value = 0.001) and nutritional status (P value = 0.000) with anemia in pregnancy. Parity statistically has no relationship and there was a relationship between pregnancy distance and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.
